Charles Dobyns, CFE

CEO & Founder


Charles Dobyns is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Strategic Franchise Development, a full-service franchise sales outsourcing firm. Charles is an accomplished franchise sales and business development executive with a proven track record of increasing franchise units, revenue and profitability while gaining market share and expanding brand awareness for both new franchise concepts and established brands. He is both a sought after franchise industry speaker and outstanding franchise sales trainer.  prior to creating Strategic Franchise Development, Charles was the largest Goodyear Tire franchisee in the United States, operating 31 locations from Redondo Beach California to Chula Vista California.  Charles is responsible for over 2,500 new franchise sales in his career.

Samantha Wilson

VP of Development

Samantha Wilson is our Director of Franchise Development. Samantha oversees the sales teams as well as identifying, creating and implementing marketing plans. Samantha and her team boost lead generation while being the sales “closer”. Prior to joining Strategic Franchise Development in 2015, Samantha was in the educational industry.


Cooper Wilson

Vice President of Franchise Development

Cooper Wilson is our Senior Director of Franchise Development. Based out of Olympia WA, Cooper overseas prospect qualification and sales. Cooper participates in marketing strategy. Cooper has been affiliated with Strategic Franchise Development since 2017 and has been in previous roles in support of franchise development. Cooper’s prior experience is in sales and operations in the power sports industry. 


Maria Maciel

Director of Franchise Development

Maria Maciel is our Director of Franchise Development  and oversees a group of lead qualification specialists. Maria and her team are responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and closing new franchise sales, while generating new sales leads to support the sales teams. 


Jason Parker

Manager of Lead Qualification Services

Jason is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and generating new sales leads to support the sales teams. Jason has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Missouri State University and has experience in both retail and restaurant franchising.

Patrick Keys

Director of Franchise Development

Patrick is our Director of Franchise Development. He oversees a sales teams as well as identifying, creating and implementing marketing plans. Patrick and his team boost lead generation while being the sales “closer”.
